We examine the second coming of Christ from this passage and marvel again at the intricacy of the plan of salvation of our God.
We see that the rejection of the Savior by the Jews resulted in the offer of salvation to the Gentiles - and the acceptance of Christ by the Gentiles was to provoke the Jews to jealousy so that they too might be saved.
We see that Christ will come when all the elect Jews and Gentiles have been saved. In the light of His coming, we are encouraged to redouble our efforts to make the Gospel known. We are also urged to make sure we are living righteously now - since we must all stand before Him in judgment when He comes again.
