The central theme of Paul’s letter to the Romans is the Gospel. We spend a few moments reviewing that Gospel in this sermon. we see:

  • The lost and hopeless condition of all mankind, born into the world as slaves to sin and under the condemnation and wrath of a justly angry God
  • Yet, through the sheer mercy of this glorious God, the provision of salvation in the Lord Jesus Christ to all who will believe
  • The absolute suitability of Jesus to be the only Savior from sin
  • What it means to believe on Christ for salvation

We end with an appeal to all who will, that they should turn from their sins and embrace Christ alone for salvation.
