Paul continues to outline God’s plan of salvation; how He turned to the Gentiles when the Jews rejected Christ and how, made jealous by the blessings of the Gentiles, the Jews were now being saved.

We are shown the great mercy of God - all are disobedient and yet He has mercy on all. In His amazing wisdom and love, He has prepared a plan in which all Israel - the elect from Jews and Gentiles alike, shall be saved for the glory of God and then will come the resurrection.

We see how evangelistic this message is - both in terms of God’s command to us to get this message out so that all the elect may be saved and also that those who hear this Gospel should turn from sin, come to Christ and be grafted in among the true people of God.
