As we prepare for our 10th annual reformation lecture series, we lay some necessary groundwork by examining what Scripture says about how God wants to be worshiped. We see two things:
- The different views that exist in the historic Christian Church on worship.
- Which of these views agrees with Scripture and is pleasing to the Lord.
We are reminded from Scripture that it is not safe or wise to worship God in any way other than those ways which He has commanded.

Shaun Bryant
Shaun has been Pastor at Grace Church in Modesto since late 1993. His journey to the fellowship took him through churches of various persuasions, during which time he became convinced of a call to the ministry and also of a Reformed view of the Scriptures. Shaun completed his studies for the ministry at Westminster Seminary in California. He is married with 3 children.
