Continuing our series in Romans, we look at the credentials Paul had as an apostle of Christ. We see that we are all called upon to proclaim the Gospel to the lost.
Paul calls those to whom he writes ‘the called’. We look at the outward and inward calls of the Gospel and see what each of them means. Only those who have received the inward call have the heart of stone removed and replaced with a heart of flesh. This takes place invisibly but is evidenced by an outward change of life and attitude to the things of God.
A serious appeal is made to all who hear - to preach the Gospel if they have received this inward call - issuing the outward call to as many as possible. Unbelievers are urged to come to Christ and seek Him for that inward call, without which all will perish.
