We examine Edwards’ point that saving grace or holy love will produce good works. Edwards is very thorough so that no one will have an excuse to reject this truth, since it is so vital to a sound assurance of a sound salvation. We examine three of Edwards’ points:

  • Everything about grace has the tendency to produce good works.
  • The Lord’s purpose in giving people grace in the first place was to produce good works.
  • Without grace, it is impossible to obey God universally, zealously and perseveringly.
