Paul continues to accumulate arguments to support the authenticity of the Gospel he had preached to the Galatians. He tells us:
- That the pillars of the church, those who were Apostles before Paul was, had nothing to add to the Gospel Paul had been preaching - showing that it must therefore have come from God
- That these Apostles rather recognized the grace that had been given to Paul to preach the Gospel to the Gentiles
- That they received him as their brother and as their equal, giving him the right hand of fellowship.
Again, we are encouraged to make sure that the true Gospel, as preached by Paul, is the one in which we believe.
