The fourth possible objection that could be raised by the Jews to what Paul said in chapter 2 is that perhaps God is unjust in punishing the Jews if indeed their lies and deception bring out His glory and demonstrate His truth.

We see instead that God is Truth and cannot condone lying and deception - even if in His providence He works out sin and evil to bring forth good.

Believers are shown the comfort they can have in the fact that God is unchangeably faithful to His Word - He cannot and will not change or alter anything He has said. Unbelievers are warned that they must come to Christ and be clothed in His righteousness or they will surely receive the justice of God for their sins, which He has also clearly promised to bring about.
