As Paul continues his journey to Jerusalem, the disciples beg him not to go, because they foresee the danger and possible death that await him there. After Paul convinces them that it is God’s will for him to go, they submit. From this story, we see that:

  • Sometimes, we may have a hard time submitting to God’s plan.
  • Though this may be the case, we must submit, knowing that God’s paths are the best and the only safe paths to take.

We are challenged to submit to God’s plan, no matter how hard it may be, just as Paul did in Jerusalem, and trust in the promise of His Word that He works all things together for good to those that love Him.
