Paul and Silas move on from Phillipi and arrive in Thessalonica. From their actions, we see that:

  • No matter the opposition we should still move forward
  • When we push forward, we need to remember that we are not just to proclaim the Gospel; we need to be able to argue for it and to defend it also
  • As we press forward with the work, by God’s grace we will see His people coming to salvation but we must also expect to be in the midst of spiritual warfare, experiencing opposition and even persecution

These points are applied to us and we are encouraged to see that with the Lord on our side, no-one can be against us!
