Paul completes his journey to Rome and is ministered to by believers on the last stages of the trip. We see:

  • The faithfulness of the Lord to His promises. He had told Paul that he was to bear witness in Rome and Paul now arrives there in fulfillment of that promise.
  • The importance of the communion of the saints, as Paul receives ministry and encouragement from believers on his way to Rome.
  • The goodness of the Lord again displayed in the kindness that was shown to Paul by the saints in Rome.

We are challenged to exercise this ministry of fellowship and communion with all those who are truly members with us of the Heavenly family.
