The psalmist cannot help but declare this glorious theme! His tongue is the pen of a ready writer.

Here we see our beautiful King in all His majesty. We see Him subduing His people to Himself in meekness and gentleness - and we see Him subduing His enemies with the arrows of His wrath. We consider the reward given Him for His work.

We hear the Gospel call to turn from all worldly entanglements and join with Christ - the King will then desire our beauty!

Finally, we catch a glimpse of the Royal Bride, decked out in the fabulous garments of Christ’s righteousness and made glorious within. We accompany the bridal party into the wedding itself and marvel that sinners such as us will participate in these wonderful events - thanks only to the grace of our God.
