As Paul testifies before Agrippa and Festus, he does not pass up the opportunity to preach the Gospel. We consider the reactions of Festus (a gentile) and Agrippa (a Jew) and see that:

  • The Gospel is considered foolishness by the Gentiles
  • The Gospel is a stumbling block to the Jews
  • The Gospel is, nevertheless, the power of God for salvation to anyone who believes.

We are challenged to be like Paul and minister the Gospel whenever we are given opportunity. Paul was not afraid of the consequences that may have followed his ministry and neither should we be.
