We consider the difference between true and false grace in terms of the sense of hunger for spiritual things that it produces in true believers. We see:
- First, that true grace produces a desire for more.
- But second, that those with counterfeit grace are satisfied with what they have.
We are challenged to examine ourselves to determine whether, having tasted that the Lord is good, we yearn for more holiness and more love to God, as this is a mark of real versus counterfeit grace.
