Having convicted Saul on the road to Damascus and struck him with blindness, the Lord now calls on Ananias to relieve Saul’s suffering.

  • God calls Ananias to help Saul
  • Ananias is hesitant to help because of Saul’s reputation
  • The Lord calls Saul into His service

It is encouraging to see that even the worst of sinners (as Saul calls himself later) can be saved by God in His sovereign grace. We are urged to share the Word with everyone, realizing that God will save all whom He has chosen, no matter how hopeless and impossible the case may appear to us.
