Paul continues to appeal to the Galatians by revealing his heart for them. We see the following points in this passage:

  • Paul expresses his love for the Galatians.
  • He reminds them how they used to love him.
  • He tells them what it is that motivates the Judaizers to try to lead them away from God.
  • He then repeats his love and concern for the Galatians and shows that his motives are very different than those of the Judaizers.

We are all urged to look to Christ and to put Him first in our lives, since this will mean that we seek one another’s highest good and demonstrate the love and unity that should characterize the children of God.
