We continue our studies on the importance and the attributes of Christian love. This time we look at the phrase, ‘Love does not take into account a wrong suffered’.

We see that there are two valid interpretations of this, and examine each of them:

  • Love does not think the worst of others.
  • Love does not bear grudges against others who give offence to them.

Once more we see that Christ had this manner of love in its fullness and we are urged to become more like Him.
