We consider how those who are strong in faith should treat those who are not as strong. We see that we should encourage those that are weaker and strive to be stronger ourselves. We should not only think about pleasing ourselves but about the needs of others also. Jesus is our ultimate example here, for although He was God in human flesh, the greatest and strongest in faith that there could be, he humbled Himself and served others and sought to build them up in faith.

Paul encourages us to follow this example and prays that we may be of one mind, building each other up and not all seeking to please ourselves while overlooking the needs of our neighbors.
