Jesus didn’t come to save the righteous - He came to save sinners. No-one is good enough to be saved on their own account, but He promises He will make you good enough, if you will just come to Him.

We see examples from the Bible in which God chose to save men who had committed sins of infinite seriousness. These serve as examples and encouragements to us to come to God that our sins also may be forgiven.

God is willing to show you mercy, to forgive you, to give you the perfect obedience of His Son to make you righteous, and to free you from hell and give you heaven. This is why He sent His Son Jesus into the world.

All you need to do is come to Jesus in faith and receive this full and free salvation. Jesus says, “Come to Me, all who are weary and heavy-laden, and I will give you rest” (Matt. 11:28).
