This morning we are reminded that we must be in submission to God’s Will. God has two Wills which are in harmony with each other. The first, His Preceptive Will, is revealed to us in the Bible. The second, His Decretive Will, is secret and known only to God, and we see it working out in everyday occurrences. We must seek to live our lives by God’s Preceptive Will and in submission to His Decretive Will. Because we do not always know God’s Decretive Will, we must make allowance for it in our plans and in our prayers.
