We begin to move to a consideration of Christ as our Priest. Here, we see Him as King, crowned as such by His Father and sitting at His right hand until His enemies are made a footstool for his feet.
We see His call as priest in the order of Melchizedek and contemplate His eternal priesthood.
Finally, we see Him actively engaged in dispensing justice and judgment on the enemies of God and for the good of His church. We are encouraged that He is Head over all things for the church and that none can stop Him from bringing His purposes to pass. Understanding that His enemies are subdued by salvation as well as by destruction, we are encouraged to proclaim the Gospel boldly to the lost and to seek to extend His glorious Kingdom.
