Again, Isaiah speaks from the perspective of the Messiah. He talks of the tongue given Him by the Father and the encouragement He would be to the weary. We hear His determination to do His Father’s will in His priestly role of becoming a sacrifice for sin - and of His certainty that the Father would vindicate Him (a reference to His resurrection).

Finally, we see the encouragement to those who believe in Him to trust Him even in the darkest of times - and we see the fate of those who would rather walk by their own light in this world than by His.
