In this message, we see the working out of God’s grace, specifically in the Atonement. God the Father out of His infinite love gave His only begotten Son, who knew no sin, to be sin on behalf of His people, that He might make them righteous in His eyes. We consider three things:

  • First, who this One is that became sin.
  • Second, what it means that the Holy One who knew no sin actually became sin.
  • And finally, how this sacrifice makes us righteous before God.

We are challenged to remember this love, infinite condescension, mercy, and grace of God the Father, so that it might motivate us as true believers to cultivate holiness (i.e. the marks of grace) in our lives.
