Having been converted, Saul now begins to serve God, entering the Synagogues and preaching. At first, the Jews are shocked by his transformation and the Christians are afraid that his conversion is false. We see:

  • The difference Jesus made in Saul’s life.
  • The difference in the way the world treated him after his conversion.
  • The reduction in the strife between the church and the world now that the Jews’ chief proponent had become a Christian.

We reflect on the fact that preaching the Gospel will always attract persecution from the world, but that our God will protect our lives in this earth until our labors for Him are completed.
