• On what basis should God answer our prayers?
  • Is it because we are good people?
  • Is it because we have earned favor with God so He owes us an answer?

In this study of the concluding words of the Lord’s Prayer, we learn that God will answer prayers that acknowledge His authority and His power to do what is asked and that have His glory as the sole motive.

Jesus gives us these words as a concluding argument to our prayer - giving God reasons why He should answer us - and all the reasons are based on God, not on us.

Finally, we look at the concluding of prayers with the ‘Amen’. What does it mean, and why should we do it?
