We look closely at this passage and see what it means that man, in distinction from the animals, was made in the image of God. By way of application, we consider to what extent we are striving to put on more and more of the moral image of God in our lives. This is of far greater value than the things that often attract our attention - the things of the world and the things of the flesh. We are challenged to examine our hearts and to seek grace to help us become more like our glorious God.
