Not everyone who “comes” to Jesus comes for the right reasons or in a saving way.

We see two things from our text:

  • First, it’s important that you come to Jesus, but
  • Second, you must come to Him for the right reasons.

We spend some time reflecting on the various reasons people have for coming to Jesus and see why many of them are either wrong or at least not the best. We see that it is the good of our souls that should motivate us to come in response to His invitation, so that He might find us and save us.
