We saw this morning that the life of least regrets for the believer is one that consists as far as possible in obedience to the commandments He gives.

Another way that Scripture describes this life is that of bearing the yoke of Christ - a yoke that Christ tells us is easy to bear.

We consider three reasons why Christ’s yoke is easy and light :

  • That the Lord only commands what is good in itself.
  • That the Lord, who calls us to bear His yoke, loves us dearly, and
  • That the Lord who calls us to bear this yoke is willing to help us carry it.

We are all encouraged to take Christ’s yoke upon us and to follow after Him; living a life that will lead to least regrets when we die and face God in judgment.
