After the Lord separated Abraham from the world, He continued to reveal further aspects of His plan of redemption. When He was on earth, Jesus said that Abraham had seen His day and rejoiced in it. In this message, we focus on three of seven ways in which God revealed Jesus to Abraham as the basis for his rejoicing in faith. We see:

  • God’s revelation of Jesus to Abraham by way of word and promise
  • His revelation through circumcision, a sign and seal of this promise
  • His revelation through military victory - a great victory over several kings and their armies that pictured the victory Christ would have over all His enemies.

We are challenged to make sure that, having the greater light of Scripture, we have ‘seen’ Jesus with the same saving faith that Abraham had.
